Fliss brings a solid and evolving clinical foundation to her role at ABBI, grounded in counselling and person-centered care. She is a qualified teacher with a Level 3 qualification in Counselling Skills and is preparing to advance her clinical training by undertaking a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
Alongside her work at ABBI, Fliss plays an integral role in mental health medical simulation for Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust, delivering high-fidelity training for future clinicians. Through realistic and emotionally nuanced scenarios, she helps develop the communication, empath and clinical reasoning skills essential for effective mental health practice.
Outside of work, Fliss is an avid hiker and scrambler with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. She is passionate about the connection between nature and mental-wellbeing and actively promotes time outside as a powerful tool for emotional resilience, recovery and self-discovery.
