Heather completed her degree in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Manchester and has worked as a nurse in the eating disorder field since 2015.
She gained in depth experience of treating patients with eating disorders on an inpatient eating disorder ward. Whilst in this role for over eight years, she progressed to the position of Deputy Ward Manager.
Heather has also completed Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM) training for treating patients with anorexia nervosa.
Heather’s approach reflects a holistic commitment to mental health, blending academic expertise with hands on experience and genuine empathy to empower individuals on their path to recovery.
