Taya holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy from the University of Salford. Throughout her training, she gained valuable experience in a variety of settings, including:
- Elderly complex discharge
- Hand therapy and rheumatology
- Adult community rehabilitation
- Riverside housing project, where she contributed to the establishment of an Occupational Therapy department
- Inpatient forensics
With experience in both the public and private sectors, Taya has worked across diverse physical and mental health settings, assisting adults, adolescents, and children.
Taya’s professional background includes Paediatric Chronic Pain Management and Rheumatology. Taya has experience in General Community Paediatrics and Orthopaedics.
Taya has a keen interest in Sensory Integration, focusing on enhancing individuals’ occupational engagement and performance. Her goal is to support individuals participate in meaningful activities that promote their well-being.
Taya has completed ASI Sensory Integration M1 and is currently working towards obtaining her Sensory Integration Practitioner certification.
