Support Worker
Val qualified as a Fashion Designer achieving an Hons. Degree in 1977. This offered her a unique insight into body image issues, both male and female.
She followed her interest in the field by completing a Diploma in Eating Disorders whilst working in Ireland in 2008. She then gained experience working on an adult inpatient eating disorder unit. This enabled her to pursue a long-held interest in supporting those with eating disorders.
Val is able to utilise her creative skills in a therapeutic, inspiring and innovative way at ABBI Clinic.
