ABBI Clinic accepts referrals from private GPs, NHS community eating disorder teams, and private medical insurance case managers. Our specialist team provides clinically-led, evidence-based eating disorder treatment for people aged 13 and above, across the full care pathway from Outpatient therapy to intensive Day Care.
If you have a patient who you believe would benefit from specialist eating disorder assessment or treatment, we welcome your referral. The process is straightforward, and our team is always happy to discuss a case informally before a formal referral is made.
ABBI Clinic is a specialist eating disorder provider. Every member of our clinical team works exclusively in eating disorder care, bringing a depth of expertise that generalist mental health services cannot replicate. We treat the full spectrum of eating disorders in people aged 13 and above, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, orthorexia, and OSFED.
ABBI Clinic offers the complete range of eating disorder treatment, from outpatient through to intensive half-day and full-day day care programmes. Patients do not need to be referred to a different service if their clinical needs change. The same specialist team provides continuity of care across every level of the pathway.
We understand that timely intervention matters. From initial referral to the start of treatment, our commitment is to move within 14 days. Referrals are acknowledged promptly and the assessment process is designed to be thorough without being unnecessarily lengthy.
Our clinical team includes consultant psychiatrists, specialist eating disorder GPs, psychological therapists, therapy assistants, specialist dietitians, and mental health nurses. Treatment plans are developed collaboratively and reviewed regularly, with clear communication to referring clinicians throughout.
90% of patients complete the full day care programme. 90% show a meaningful reduction in eating disorder symptoms by the end of treatment. 95% maintain their recovery at six-month follow-up. Patient satisfaction is rated at 10 out of 10. We are committed to transparency about our clinical outcomes and are happy to share further detail on request.
ABBI Clinic is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission and is regulated and recognised by the General Medical Council, the Nursing and Midwifery Council, the Royal College of Nursing and BACP. We provide NHS services and are recognised by all major private medical insurers.
